Rockville Youth Rally for Their Big Moment at U.S. Open

Twenty-four young tennis players, aged 8-15, from Rockville’s tennis programs were invited onto the 2025 U.S. Open tennis court in August to take part in the U.S. Tennis Association Net Generation On Court Experience.

The USTA Net Generation On Court Experience offers junior players a chance to play tennis on the court at major events, such as the U.S. Open, providing them the opportunity to step onto the same courts as professional athletes.

Rockville participants showcased their tennis skills on center court and one lucky attendee flipped the official U.S. Open coin to start a match. Learn more about USTA Net Generation at netgeneration.usta.com.
