The season of goodwill will be here sooner than you think. Rockville is busy gearing up for its annual Holiday Drive to support local families in need during Thanksgiving and December.

For more than half a century, the Holiday Drive has relied on support from local churches, schools, civic organizations, service clubs, social service agencies and individuals. And as the holidays approach, Rockville businesses in particular are invited to join in contributing to the Holiday Drive’s good work.

In 2024, the drive served 750 Rockville households, including seniors, for Thanksgiving, and reached about 1,500 children and teens in December.

Collection boxes for donations will be placed at facilities throughout the city. Food donations will be collected until Friday, Nov. 14; toys and books will be collected until Friday, Dec. 12.
