Color Full Community is a community arts project that was designed and created by artist Rose Jaffe in collaboration with residents of the Lincoln Park neighborhood. Appearing on the side of the Lincoln Park Community Center facing the playground, the mural is a celebration of community that is rooted in its history, as well as its people and wildlife. The images and colors in the artwork reflect the culture of caring and people’s support for one another that exists in Lincoln Park.
This project was funded by a grant from the Maryland State Arts Council and administered by VisArts, an arts nonprofit organization headquartered in Rockville. It was accessioned into the public art collection of the Art in Public Places Program in 2024.
