Moderately Priced Dwelling Unit Program
The City of Rockville provides affordable rental housing and for-sale housing through its Moderately Priced Dwelling Unit (MPDU) Program. You do not need to be a U.S. citizen to participate in the program; non-U.S. citizens may apply.
Housing Vouchers
Rockville Housing Enterprises (RHE) acts as the city’s public housing authority, but is an independent entity. RHE operates several affordable rental properties throughout the city and administers housing voucher programs. Certain vouchers can be used to rent market-rate apartments at more affordable prices. However, as of Feb. 28, 2025, the waitlist is currently closed to new applicants. To learn more, visit rockvillehe.org.
